Option 1: Current Situation:
- Nullahs running throughout the city carrying sewage and garbage from illegal colonies.
- A familiar stink greets you when you encounter these Nullahs day to day….
- Polluted Nullahs continuously drain into the Yamuna and pollute it.

- Heat Island Effect of the area increases due to reduced greenery, felling of trees, and increased paved surfaces.

- Nullahs continue to be unclean garbage and sewage conveyors, thus potential health hazards and continuous polluters of the Yamuna.
Option 3: Proposed Vision:
- Nullahs are cleaned and restored to their original function of being clean storm water conveyors of the city. Only cleaned or recycled water flows through them.
- Beautiful green waterways... lined with seasonal trees, bio-filtering vegetation, aromatic flowers… with networks of pedestrian and bicycle paths connect you to the nearest shopping centre or Metro station
- Parks where your children can play within “watching” distance from home….and you can relax on a hot day with friends & family..
